Watch this Video if you are having troubles here.
Lego Worlds has just been released on Steam as Early access and like most games Macs are always left out. If you just finished watching my Youtube tutorial on How To Get Lego Worlds Working On A Mac, I really hope it works for you. If you haven’t I suggest watching it as it will be easier to follow step by step. Please keep in mind this may not work for everyone depending on your specs of your mac. Refer to the system requirements before purchasing.
LEGO® Worlds is an open environment of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Create anything you can imagine one brick at a time, or use large-scale landscaping tools to create vast mountain ranges and dot your world with tropical islands. Drop in prefabricated structures to build and customize any world to your liking. Explore using helicopters, dragons, motorbikes or even gorillas and unlock treasures that enhance your gameplay. Watch your creations come to life through characters and creatures that interact with you and each other in unexpected ways. In LEGO Worlds, anything is possible!

Head over to Codeweavers.com and download the latest CrossOver application here. You will be able to download a free 15 day trial and will cost you $59.95 USD there after. CrossOver lets you install many popular Windows applications and games on your Mac.
After successfully installing CrossOver, Click on the “Install Windows Application”. Under supported Applications search for Steam it should automate the rest for you. Name the bottle “Steam”. I highly advise you to watch the tutorial if you are having problems here.
CrossOver will now install Steam and go through the process of installing the correct application to get it working. This may take some time.
Once Steam has finished installing, login and download LEGO® Worlds via steam. Don’t be fooled by some people saying that there is mac version available because it could be a virus. At the moment the only way to install the game is via CrossOver or BootCamp.
Once you have purchased LEGO® Worlds and successfully installed the game you should be able to login and play LEGO Words on you Mac. If failed continue on how to install LEGO® Worlds using a virtual machine.
Unfortunately this is the only other way to get LEGO® Worlds installed without having to dual boot into Bootcamp. Unless you are happy to do that then I would recommend installing Bootcamp. If you’re like me and hate booting into bootcamp this is the best way.
I recommend installing Windows 7. After you have obtained a copy of Windows 7 you will need to download a virtual machine software. I personally use VMware but you can also check out Parallels, both have at least a 14 day trial period. That way you can choose the best of the two.
After you have successfully installed Win7 download DirectX 9.0c. Remember to do this first before installing LEGO® Worlds. Once installed install Steam within the Virtual Machine and click install. You should be prompted after installing to insert your logging details. Purchase and download LEGO® Worlds then click play and enjoy.
I hoped this article helped you get LEGO® Worlds to work on your Mac and if it didn’t hang in tight for the next build. Hopefully a Mac build comes out soon but I wouldn’t put my money on it. I believe this is the best way at the moment to play the game without having to boot into Windows.
